Back in the Ring to take Another Swing...

I've decided to stop copping out with photo-based blogs and get back to doing what I do best. Last night was the Pat Green concert down at the handlebar with the lovely ladies of C-208. It was a boot kickin' good 'ol time with some acceptable country music. Pat came out completely sloshed, forgot some words, sobered up, ranted incoherently about how dumb drinks were and then proceeded to rock out some. Highlights included his playing of John Wayne and Jesus just for me, PG telling Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks to kiss his ass and the encore performance of "With a Little Help From My Friends". All in all, I was pleased I was able to obtain a ticket at the last second to this soldout show (which I had previously thought was impossible at the Handlebar). Shows to look forward to from here! DrivebyTruckers at the Handlecar Dec. 15th immediately followed by the 8 hour drive to see back to back (or at least one of those nights) Carbon Leaf at Alley Katz in Richmond to kick off the holiday break. Only my second Leaf show of the Fall, I'm really starting to lose it.

Other things to look forward to....obviously going home for the week of Thanksgiving. Most importantly getting to see my brother who has been between Ft. Stewart and Ft. Polk these past few monthes in preparation for his "vacation at the beach", although I try to tell him just because there's a lot of sand, doesn't make Baghdad a beach, but I shouldn't try to crush his optimism. We'll have several hilarious adventures in the week to come. Operation Jocephus has already been through many indepth planning stages and promises to be a roaring success. Sid, Kev, and Sam will be back in the big city to accompany me on many Chubbie's trips, late night gaming and general laziness, not to mention the fishing, driving and shooting. The break will have loads of work weighing on my mind for my return and sadly I may have to do some of it while at home trying to relax. The bright side is only two weeks of class and exams follows the break before the ultimate rockout and a solid three weeks at home with no worries.

The time for Educaiton class draws nigh and there were so many more good things to say! I'm really digging B208 these days, we're some pretty rocked out dudes. I thought perhaps agitation with one another might have set in by now, but happily it has not for me at least. Hopefully these feelings of resentment will only foster themselves in the dark depths of Winter term, which has claimed many a soul with its evil in years past. Kidding aside, these guys rock, despite what I try to tell Jimmy about hating him.

Alright good people, back to the psychology of learning...I hope to post this very interesting article later, and you too can find out what kind of multiple intelligences you are strong in! I think I'm a strongest interpersonal intelligence learner type. Disagreements?

Well, I'll be the evil roommate and say that the year is not over yet. I might have to strangle someone eventually, but I'm hoping to keep the crunkness to a minimum.

By the way, I'm not playing. Seriously. I'm for real.
