How Sweet It Is...

Oh blog....if only you knew. Sometimes things aren't going your way and thats okay. One can always have faith that a week like this one will roll around to be a 7 day exercise in glory. Wow....where do I start with this? RED SOX BROKE THE CURSE LAST NIGHT! After sucking away my will to sleep and study for the past 2 weeks, the Sox bravely returned from a 3-0 deficit against the Yankees (just in case ya'll have been under a rock for the past week) to win 4 straight and then sweep the Cards in the Series. holy friggin crap!

My education presentation was stellar. My partner and I through much hilarity and insanity pieced together a wonderful work and laid it out well for the class. We probably didn't rule everyone's project, but I'd say we were top third no doubt. We had it all...interactive lessons....flash animation made by me specifically for this project....a hilarious german guy with germany for his head...you get the idea. Also, the EES test went as well as could be expected, he still pulled out some random rocks that I refuse to learn, but maybe one day I'll wise up. Religion quiz.....eh.....oh well. Religion paper moved to Monday! Hell yeah! This just means I wait until Sunday afternoon to do it, but hey, Sunday afternoon is a long way away...I think. In addition, Ed test moved back from Tuesday. Word. Everything is falling into place.

Speaking of everything falling into place. Everything is really falling into place. This has just been a teaser line to annoy Jimmy. Everyone else knows whats up Jimmy. I told Rowdy Rod, Ludwick, Ben, Well-Dressed Guy, Relationship Guy, Adam, Moussa, even Sandwich-Lady. Everyone knows but you.

2nd Weekly-Weeked Review

Friday night....Raise Your Voice starring my former love Hilary Duff was seen with the ladies of C208 and slightly inebriated Jimmy by my side. The girls cried throughout while Jimmy laughed, I merely enjoyed the scenery. All in all that was a successful evening as we sent the girls off with assurances of triathalon success. Saturday morning Jimmy and I somehow managed to get up early AND go to the library. I think we were all a little worried by this performance and vowed to make up for it with unprecedented worthlessness that evening: we succeeded. We watched football for hours on end, then ordered pizza and watched Walking Tall starring the Rock. Predictable, yet beautifully predictable. Rock uses a 4X4 to beat down some drug pushers. he later fashions a bat out of this beat stick and continues to beat with it. At this point I rather brilliantly suggest "The Beatdown" as the sequel to "The Rundown". Then it was barn party time, preceeded by seeing Schmidt-face celebrate her 21st birthday. The night sort of fizzled from there after shaking our country thing (Rod included) for a couple of hours. This weekend, like all of my other recent ones, was much like a ridiculous roller coaster ride. I guess thats how its supposed to be. Better rap this up, I think I'm keeping Tab and Adam awake. Not that I am very upset about that fact. Tutoring again tomorrow with Steve! We're reading Eli and the Swamp Man. It'll be a good week. I'm an eternal optimist.

Monday!

I was seriously pumped for Monday this week. I'm just basically pumped for life this week and for weeks to come. Lets draw back on a short recap of days past in order to catapult this blog into today and the ones to come. Friday was the inauguaral B/C 208 dinner party. I hosted and put my culinary skills to the test. From what I can tell everyone enjoyed what was laid before them, but with adam licking the bottom of bowls on grog night in the DH, he's not the best indicator. Saturday began as all fall saturdays should, by watching college gameday and then heading to see our beloved Paladins mop the floor with Western Carolina on their gallant quest for a national title. The afternoon was slam-packed with hours of Fable adventures, the most terribly addictive video game that threatens the studies of Jimmy and myself. Saturday evening I chose Jeff Tweedy as my rock star of choice. A solid choice I must say, but I believe it was lost on many individuals in attendance. I got some costume love from about 4 people there who were down with Wilco, so that made it all worth while. (Pause for Adam and I to rock out to Box Full of Letters) It was a stressful evening for some of us, but in the end, all was well and good and right with the world again. Today was Monday. I did not fear Monday even with the test it brought in Religion. I embraced Monday and had an awesome time tutoring Steve at Berea Middle School. We read about the Mayo Brothers and he asked if I would come back everyday of the week and I was actually dissapointed that I had to tell him I would only be there once a week. So we get along well, and make fun of his teachers together, which I guess technically is being a bad influence....oh well. I'm pumped for a good week. It will be a good week. I feel great.

Waste the days, waste the nights
Try to downplay being uptight
Oh, you're right, but I believe
A kiss is all we need
